Pick the meetup that feels right
The main Soho Saturday Social is usually every 2nd Saturday of the month from 3pm at the Duke of Wellington. Other socials vary by date, venue and size, so check the event card before you RSVP.

What to expect
New to London Gays? Here is the practical stuff that helps the room feel friendly, fair and easy to join.
RSVPs and numbers
Please RSVP on Meetup only if you are fairly sure you can attend. If your plans change, update your RSVP as early as you can so another guy can take the space and we can give the venue accurate numbers.
Coming on your own
Lots of people do. Around 15-20% of attendees are newcomers at a typical event, so you will not be the only one walking in for the first time. Arriving near the start makes introductions easier.
Who the events are for
London Gays is a gay men’s group, built as a dedicated space for gay men to meet socially. Friends are welcome when they are gay men too. If you are unsure whether an event is the right fit, contact us before booking.
Age mix
The group began with a strong over-35 profile, and that still shapes the feel of many socials. We now welcome gay men aged 18+, and around 15% of attendees are under 30.
Costs and venue support
Our Soho socials use a pay-what-you-can approach; the typical contribution is £3. Barnet socials are free, but you must buy a drink from the bar because that is part of our venue reservation.
The mix of people
You will meet regulars, newcomers, men new to London or the UK, men recently out, men coming after a relationship, and guys arriving with partners or friends.
Genuine social purpose
London Gays events are for social connection. Please do not attend to gather evidence, endorsements or validation for a visa, asylum or immigration claim.
We ask everyone to follow the London Gays Code of Conduct. Kindness, respect and accurate RSVPs help us secure good venues, reserved spaces and drinks offers.
